I would appreciate help identifying this wild looking specimen my grandmother found in her yard. It was growing in semi-recently put down mulch.
A place to get genus/species identification from pictures of fruiting bodies! It helps to include good quality pictures of the mushroom in its native environment, the location you found them, photos of both the top and underside. It is also useful to know what the mushroom was growing on - wood, dung or on the ground? Nearby trees are also helpful to know. The more information you provide the more confident our IDs will be!
