Dropbox J1 renewal slots only in Chennai. Want to do in Delhi

I am on J1 alien physician visa and will be travelling to India next month. I qualified for the Dropbox. I wanted to pick Delhi as my center but the only OFC site that is available is Chennai.

I’ve seen posts from last year stating that u don’t have to go to Chennai and can just do the Dropbox from Delhi (or any OFC post close to you).

Is this true ?
