Is the beginning part of "Given Up On Me" The Weeknd talking to US, or to Abel ?

As the title states.

Someone wrote a comment on Genius saying "No Abel, we will not let you go."

And it got me thinking and wondering: Is The Weeknd talking to Abel, or is he talking to us, his fans ? It seems logical it's The Weeknd talking to his fans, since he says "I've been lying to your faceS, yeah." PLURAL, But Im not sure exactly.
