Every website/ app having some crappy popup

I'm not talking about ads either I mean shit like "do you want to sign up for our newsletter" "More features on the app, try now" Cookies being an obvious one too

Like, why do these braindead morons think this is good?? I'm trying to use your site, potentially pay for a product if I like it, and you're shoving crap on my face and wasting my time? Making me click out just to have the luxury if checking the same thing I'm trying to check?

If you're going to put something covering the screen, at least have the decency to let me click on the screen to get rid of it, don't make me click a tiny x
