Read this if you struggle with study

I used to visit this sub for years searching for answers after I started questioning myself - am I good enough for school? I struggled, I could not pass exams repeatedly. Of course all the advice here works.

But I offer a different approach, which turned the tide for me.

So I would like, get a week to prepare, right? And during this week, I could not get myself to do something. And when I forced something, I could go for about two hours before procrastination kicked in.. and hours went by, days went by, no progress. I failed. And I felt worthless.

The difference?

I am bad at studying alone. I found small groups of 4-5 people and suddenly, my studying became extremely effective and efficient.

You know how people study 3 days before an exam alone and get it? Well by studying with a group you can get same performance in a day. Why is this? Because a small group focuses on explaining the problems and transfering the ideas between each other. By staying in a group, you will not tend to procrastinate but work as a team. And when you don't understand anything and think the concept is not understandable, there's always somebody who somehow understood it and says "well it's very easy let me explain"

So please, if you struggle with one method, try changing the game. I can NOT get myself to learn alone, but place me with a 3-4 people and I can outperform lone-learners. I struggled with bacherelors for 6 years, but I managed to get masters in 2 years with just 2 failed exams.

It's not a miracle, you probably will not become A student, but it changed me from being F-E student to C+ student and I made it.

Good luck!
