How limited is the venture card?

I have a FICO score of 796. I have 0 credit cards with capital one and have 2 other credit cards (1 with a local credit union and another with FireStone)

My last CC was opened 2 years ago. I have an exclusive offer for Quicksilver for $300 cash bonus vs the usual $200. The 1.5% cash back on every purchase sounds nice given the credit card I have with my local credit union barely has perks.

However, the “LIMITED TIME” Venture card has really caught my eye since I go to Japan every year. I plan to go again in December 2025. Hitting the 4k in 3 months is easy. The 75,000 miles is roughly $1,000 which alone would pay for my Japan flight!

The thing is, I would love another Every day credit card to replace the one with my credit union. Quick silver sounds great but I don’t wanna miss out on the limited time for Venture. What are the chances capital one brings it back later down the road?

Also, I’m not sure if their pre-approval means anything but I have pre-approvals for both.
