Pancoast tumor
40/female non-smoker but grew up with 2 parents who smoke
In March/April I began having intense left breast pain and some dizziness. I initially attributed it to hormone changes
End of May I went to urgent care because the pain was in my breast/chest and shoulder blade the did an ekg and sent me on my way
June finally got in at my gp they did a work up, all cbc and metabolic panels came back fine, they sent me to get a mammogram (which i had done routinely in March and was clear) and ultrasound came back clear. They also sent me for a stress test which was fine (these were completed in August because you can't get anything done quickly)
July had spine xray done was fine..by this time my arm is also in the game, everything is intermittent pain
August-beginning of August noticed my right calf was bothering me by the end of August it still was so i got an ultrasound and it was clear, 2 days later i woke up with the left side of my neck hurting really bad and my shoulder blade
Early September i noticed my hands (both) started to feel achy and then they started to burn up both arms and then a few days later had severe pai the back of my neck and a severe headache. I went to the ER after a couple days when every time I moved i felt light headed. They did an Angio head and neck ct both clear blood work was fine
I've notice at times my whole body feels like it's buzzy too
Should I continue to be concerned that I have a pancoast tumor that was seen on my chest xray? What else could be the problem
I currently have MRI scheduled for my head and spine but i feel like my Dr may be focusing on my head and neck more than my breast/armpit/arm/ back pain that was the initial presentation.
I'm miserable...someone help me
